Woodruff Farm Pot Roast
Ingredients 4 lb. Woodruff Farm Chuck Roast 2 tsp. Minced dried onion 2 tsp. Dried garlic flakes 1/2 packet Ranch Dressing® Mix 1/2 c. Pepperoncini rings 1/2 c. Pepperoncini juice 5 T. Unsalted butter Salt & pepper to taste Olive oilMethod Season sides of chuck roast with salt and pepper. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet until hot. Add chuck roast and brown on all sides (about 2 minutes per side). Place browned chuck roast in a slow cooker. Sprinkle minced dried onion, dried garlic flakes and Ranch Dressing® mix over top of the roast. Spread pepperoncini rings over roast and pour juice over the entire roast. Dot roast with the butter. Slow cook chuck roast on low setting for 8.5 hours.
